Peacock Pie Review - Butterfly Nail Polish Ring!

There are a lot of creative people in New Zealand, and I'm pretty sure most of them are in a Facebook group I belong to. It's full of kiwis who love nail polish and everything to do with it. Several have started their own businesses related to their obsession, and one of these people is Serra from Peacock Pie!

Not only is Serra a lovely person, but she makes the most beautiful jewellery. Here's a gorgeous ring she gave me to review for her. I got to request the design and colours myself, as anyone can :).

Isn't it cute? I'm excited to wear it to work so the kids I look after can admire it. Nail polish jewelley is so unique - with so many polishes and designs to chose from you can never run out of ideas.

The ring has a diameter of 2cm and sits about a centimeter above your finger at the highest point (it's dome shaped).

Here's a screenshot of Peacock Pie's etsy shop, which you can click here to visit! She has really good prices - only $9 NZ for this beautifully hand-crafted and personally designed ring. She also sells pendants that you could make into necklaces.

I have quite thin fingers (a sort-of bonus from years of playing piano) and the ring fits on my middle finger, slightly loosely. For those with less bony fingers it's adjustable, as you can see here.

I just think it's adorable!

If you're interested in purchasing some of Peacock Pie's hand-painted jewellery you can click here to visit her Etsy shop. Serra also has a blog, which you can find here, and a Facebook page; here.

In case you were wondering about my nail polish, I painted my nails with Picture Polish Wisteria, then went over it - first with Orly Cosmic Kiss, then Orly Rocker Chick.

*The ring shown in this post was provided to me for honest review by Peacock Pie*
